Youth With a Mission

I recently hung out at this massive campus in Lakeside Montana that used to be home to a U.S. Air Force radar facility and now houses the Youth With a Mission, one of the world's largest Christian mission organizations. Read the full story in the Flathead Beacon here. One of the ways the spread their message is through music and the arts. They had quite the impressive recording studio.

Another Day of Blowing Up City Beach...

I spent the Fourth of July at City Beach in Whitefish along the always beautiful and impressive waters of Whitefish Lake. I can honestly say I didn't really want to be working, but I did take a couple extracurricular pics besides the fireworks show – which was actually quite good this year.

Smoochin' on the Lake...

Finally getting around to dealing with some Polebridge and Bowman Lake photos. I am proud to say that I spent more time fishing, eating pizza and pastries, drinking, dancing to surprise music, chatting with friends and meeting a wonderful lady – who is dating my wonderful Mate – than shooting photos. It was a great getaway, even though I had to endure my couplie friends non-stop lovie dovie smoochin' in between casts (you know who you are :)

Eyes a Deep Pool Blue...

I recently spent a few hours at the water park in Kalispell. I was surprised at the resurgence of popularity in aviator glasses among lifeguards.

Polebridge Sunset

I have had a difficult time keeping up with the ol' blog lately as I struggle to keep my head above water – but what's new I guess. So to those of my friends out there who I said, "Of course I'll get those pictures to you as soon as I get a chance." I'm sorry. I still haven't had a chance.

But I did have a second to post this image from my awesome evening of camping near Polebridge. And to prove brilliant minds think alike, my lady took almost the exact picture. I think I like hers more. She had to actually get up to make the photo while I refused to leave my proximity to the pizza.
